Olympus – Pen EES-2 The original Pen was introduced in 1959. It was designed by Maitani Yoshihisa[1], and was the first half-frame camera produced in Japan. It was one of the smallest cameras to use 35mm film in regular 135 cassettes. It was thought to be as portable as a pen; thus the name. […]

The SOCCKET is a soccer ball that harnesses kinetic energy when played with and converts it into electrical energy that can be used to power small appliances. Using the LED lamp that comes with each ball, minutes of play can provide hours of light. Britton Caillouette and Farm League traveled to Nigeria last year to […]

The Levi’s® 501® jean. The uniform of progress since 1873.

This Spring, Farm League’s Britton Caillouette had the honor of working with Levi’s to celebrate the 140th anniversary of the 501® Jean. They asked him to come up with an idea for a film that looked forward by looking backward–that explored Levi’s storied past with a fresh, modern perspective. Working with catalogues of timeless black and […]

Throwing heat

Chris goes back to his roots.

A Farm League Affair

Who else has a radar gun at their parties and has a 20 year old throwing 80 mph heat to anyone that wants to step in?

Chris can’t help but lead the South African Cows

It’s hard to direct cattle, but Chris will strip off the speedos, throw the boogie board down and somehow get on the same page as them. Whether it be his intuitive relationship with the creatures or the hypnosis he puts them under…at the end of the day we’re all eating good burgers.

EP’s in plaid

Stripes and plaid do mix! Ford Ranger – Lesotho, Africa.

Finally someone who will listen to Tieneke!

More well know for her Spanish and Portuguese, Tieneke is able to strike up a friendly conversation no matter what language or dialect it is. The conversation did go south however, when the local refused to trade his get up for Tieneke’s jacket. End of the the story though; laughs were exchanged and friends were made.

Farm Leaguing in Africa!

This situation has become a standard on our shoots. So much so, that we have invested in top notch towing ropes. Also, Danny is a very hard working dude, but his most underrated attribute is directing people to get get a stuck car out of a pickle.

They will throw a Shaka no matter how far away the ocean is!

Don’t go South of Green Mountain road. You will run into these guys. Unless, you feel like being intimidated by fits of passavisms and exaggerated fish and surf stories.

Trail of tears!

Sometimes the middle of no where is now here. Just your typical scout day with mud boots on, an unneeded walkie attached, and six dudes and two dudettes to enjoy a long hike and work occasionally along the way.

For Tim

Thomas will let you know when he’s proud of you or think you’ve worked hard. Not only is it a boost of energy physically, psychologically and emotional it’s a hard shell that melts in your mouth and not in your hand.

A coma after Badlands.

Disgruntled look? Check. Cameras operational? Check. Functional attire? Check. Badlands get ready to become good!

Ford “Go Do Adventure – Montana”

The new Ford Explorer takes Allison Edwards and Andria Lessler to the Mossbar Quarter Horse Ranch. They meet seasoned cowboy Trever Moss, who guides them deep into the wilderness to find the elusive wild herd in their natural habitat.

Ford “Go Do Adventure – Hawaii”

The Ford Explorer takes the Asdel family on their dream adventure on the North Shore of Oahu.

Just watching tv in the Namibian desert

Not a bad place to dress up like the characters from your favorite movie. Where else would you rather snuggle up and watch Life Aquatic then here? There are some serious discussions that go around the telly…”how did i blow that audition for the Steve Zissou part.”

Most Likely to not Really – Book

Alex’s visual art consists of paintings with gouache on wood and paper with subject matter that is largely nonobjective but aesthetically has strong ties to the natural world. When in the gallery, he tends towards installation using diverse materials such as live grass, scrap wood, and sewn together US currency that he cuts into silhouette form or more recently has sewn into makeshift clothing.
